A Peep into the World of SAABURI

A team of dedicated professionals housed together to provide support to children with special needs. “Saaburi” was concerned with the idea of providing all services under one umbrella to maximize the support to the children. It provides services to children who are “Mentally Challenged, Physically challenged, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Slow Learners, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Psychological services (including IQ testing and personality tests)”. Therapeutic intervention and Special Education is given to children whose cognitive abilities are below average. Borderline intelligence children & specific learning problem children are given remedial academic support, be it subject related or a specific area deficit in academics. As it is very important to learn the basic management skills for a mother & primary teacher to make the child comfortable both at home & Pre School our certificate course “Teacher Plus & Parent Plus” provides the required technical inputs which help them become aware of the condition.

Summer Camps are conducted for the children with learning problems to bring improvement in their academic skills and to boost their self esteem.

Children with Autism Spectrum disorder attending different service support depending on the need. Autism children with mental retardation attending the special education training and sensory stimulation. The children with mild developmental delays attend our pre - school to be trained in school readiness skills; few of them attend regular schools in the morning hours and attend the support services in the afternoon.
